Dans ce processus, l'\u00e9chantillon \u00e0 examiner est irradi\u00e9 par un laser. Une infime partie de la lumi\u00e8re interagit au niveau mol\u00e9culaire \u2013 c'est ce que l'on appelle la diffusion Raman. Cette lumi\u00e8re est ensuite s\u00e9par\u00e9e optiquement selon sa \u201e couleur \u201c et d\u00e9tect\u00e9e. De plus, l'intensit\u00e9 est une mesure de la concentration respective d'une substance. La spectroscopie Raman est donc un outil puissant, tant en laboratoire que dans la technologie d'analyse de processus (PAT). Une analyse fiable permettant de doser l&#x27;ammoniac rev\u00eat donc une grande importance tant pour la production industrielle que pour la surveillance environnementale. Le capteur Raman Optoquant permet de d\u00e9tecter et de quantifier avec pr\u00e9cision l&#x27;ammoniac dissous dans les liquides d\u00e8s des concentrations inf\u00e9rieures \u00e0 0,5 %, avec une puissance laser de seulement 0,7 mW. La figure montre l&#x27;\u00e9talonnage du capteur en fonction de la concentration d&#x27;ammoniac dans une solution aqueuse, sur la base d&#x27;une bande Raman caract\u00e9ristique \u00e0 3300 cm<sup>-1<\/sup>.
